Wesley, drawing from his own experiences, recognized the pressing need for comprehensive disaster preparedness education. In 2015, he initiated Go-bag Wesley, an endeavor focused on teaching individuals and communities how to properly plan for disasters by assembling essential disaster kits. Seeing the knowledge gap within his own circle of friends and family, Wesley was determined to bridge it through education.

In late 2018, Jason and Wesley joined forces, fueled by a shared vision of creating a holistic disaster preparedness approach. Recognizing a genuine lack of preparedness at the community level, they envisioned a program that would not only educate but also provide practical solutions for individuals to safeguard themselves and their loved ones.

Officially incorporated in July 2019, Instinct Ready was born, and from that moment on, our mission has been unwavering—to empower communities with the knowledge and tools necessary to face emergencies head-on. The expansion of our services marks a pivotal chapter in our story. We recognize that the need for preparedness extends beyond the individual; it encompasses entire communities and organizations. Our Story

At Instinct Ready, our story is rooted in a shared commitment to saving lives and empowering communities through preparedness. It all began with our founders, Jason and Wesley, whose paths converged through a common background as first responders and active Emergency Medical Technicians. With a collective experience of over 25 years, they intimately understand the critical importance of being ready for the unexpected.

As an EMT, Jason bore witness to the heartbreaking consequences of unpreparedness. It was the profound impact of these experiences that fueled his desire to make a difference. In 2017, Jason took the first step by founding Instinct Education, dedicated to imparting essential lifesaving skills such as CPR and First Aid to community members.
